Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.. family, delicious food and the start of the Christmas season! Although I try my hardest to count my blessings daily, Thanksgiving reminds me just how fortunate I am. I have no idea what I ever did to deserve so much love in my life but I am forever grateful. My cousin hosts Thanksgiving.. she is a brave soul.. five boys and still finds time to cook a massive meal for 20+ people. I have no idea how she manages but God bless her! It was a beautiful day.. my entire family was in the same place at the same time (which is nearly impossible these days) and it was so much fun.
After dinner at my cousin’s house, hubby and I headed to my brother-in-law’s house for dessert and (most importantly) snuggles with our new niece Charlotte. Chase from Paw Patrol, A.K.A. Colton, was not interested in pictures with Uncle Ben.. he probably had cases to solve.
After completely stuffing ourselves with way too much food, we headed home so I could take a quick cat nap before Black Friday shopping with my Mom and Grandma at midnight! Such a crazy and fun tradition and, despite being used to working night shift, I can hardly keep up with these ladies!
I hope you all had a lovely holiday filled with all your favorite things.
