I’m back!

I’m back! But I’m different from the last time you saw me contributing to the world of social media and blogging… a year ago!

First and foremost, I’ve gone from a Mom of 1 to a Mom of 2 beautiful boys. A Mom that messes up, gets it right, and messes up again. A Mom who occasionally looses my cool and feels like I need a break. A Mom with Mom guilt up the wazoo but at the same time knows I’m doing my very best each and every day.

In the past year, I’ve also spent time evaluating and straightening out my priorities. I am extremely careful who I give my precious time to and I’ve learned that saying “no” is often the best response (and I haven’t had any FOMO). I eliminated Facebook and cut back dramatically on Instagram and, let me tell you… it was game changing and I don’t miss the mindless scrolling one bit. It’s given me the ability to be truly present with my family, it’s given me more peace, and it’s given me back so many more minutes in a day that I was wasting. I encourage you to try giving it a break… start with a weekend off whichever platforms you use and see how you feel. Allow yourself to be bored during times you would naturally pick up your phone and scroll. See what magic can happen.

At three months postpartum, my creative mind is finally beginning to turn on again and remind me how much I love writing and miss it. I miss sharing things that light a fire inside me. I miss connecting with people. I miss trying to make a difference… even the smallest one… in someone else’s life. So I’m back in hopes to maybe help change even one life. Just maybe. And then it will be worth that precious time of mine that I talk about.

Although minimizing social media has made a huge impact on my life, I still have brain fog, stress, lack of sleep, frustrations and days of feeling overwhelmed. For awhile I have been looking for something else but I wasn’t quite sure what that looked like… until a friend introduced me to a mental wellness company called Amare. Their “happy juice” is helping me with all those symptoms I mentioned above and it’s giving me the ability to channel my passion for “wellness” into something that can help myself and so many people physically, mentally and financially.

At the end of the day, what I ultimately want to achieve in this life is a healthy one that gives me the ability to SHOW UP for the people I care most about for a very long time. And not just show up but also be physically and mentally available. This company is helping me achieve these goals. If you’re interested in learning more about the products or the business, reach out and let’s talk more!

I’m excited to be writing and sharing again! Thanks for being here!

Love, Jessica
