Another week in the books. How did you spend yours? Maybe you and your family managed to get away for an end-of-the-summer vacation. Maybe you’re trying to figure out how you and your kiddos will manage back to school?

Did you watch the Democratic National Convention? Are you going to watch the Republican National Convention this coming week? I truly hope that whichever side you lean towards, you are informing yourself of both party views and planning to vote soon because it matters. Your voice matters. This year more than ever.

Mother Nature blessed us with a few days in the 70s and nights in the low 60s this week and it was glorious. For the first time in months we shut our air conditioning off, opened windows and in the morning woke up to a crisp and refreshed home. There’s nothing better than that fresh, clean air smell drifting through your hallways.. you know the one I’m talking about, right?
