My cousin Emily lost her Dad over the summer to a tragic accident. Although we have never been very close, a tiny bit of good came from this tragedy and found a way to bring us together. Emily turns 16 in December.. an age I can’t imagine going through without my Dad but this girl is so strong. To celebrate her big day, all girls in my family managed to pulled together.. It takes an act of God to get us all in the same place at the same time but somehow we managed to pull off a surprise brunch to celebrate this exciting birthday.We headed to Tavern in the Square for brunch.. which I highly recommend.. and had so many laughs, a few tears, and way too much food! This Sunday morning was special. I’m so lucky to be surrounded by so many strong women and the time we get to spend together is priceless.
