Favorite winter books for kids

We love books in this house. So much so that we have four bookshelves full plus bins in the kids’ closets full of seasonal books and a stack from the library on the kitchen table. In my opinion, you can never have too many books and I love that my toddler enjoys reading also. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me when he grabs a few of his favorites and plops himself down on the couch to “read” them without any prompting. We read throughout the day and always read a story as a family at bedtime. It’s a hobby that I hope to instill in my boys for a lifetime.

We have one particular children’s bookshelf in the living room that is most accessible during the day and we fill with seasonal books. Come along with me on a book journey this year as I share some of our favorite books for each monthly theme!

Our Christmas books have been put away but I kept out all the “winter” books which is our January theme. Here are some of our favorites that maybe you and your kiddos will enjoy also (with Amazon links for easy purchasing).
